The Wilds at Salmonier couldn’t be any sunnier on the day that Wes and Jennifer got married. It made what is already a gorgeous venue absolutely stunning. I couldn’t have been any happier to be Jennifer and Wes’s wedding photographer!
Richelle and I arrived to find all of the girls already dressed and ready to get to the wedding, so we hopped outside and took advantage of the pre-ceremony time to photograph the girls with Jennifer.
Also on top of things were the men! Nothing left to do but finishing touches when I arrived there too!  The beautiful thing about The Wilds is that you can get married outside under the shelter of a huge tent, and then later dance the night away in the reception room without ever having to leave the resort!

After a short and sweet wedding ceremony, we took the family photos and then headed out with the bridal party to a nearby old bridge. Jennifer described it when we chatted on the phone but I had never seen it in person! It was perfect – she has a great eye for things!  Because we rarely get a day with heat, sun and no wind, Jennifer’s veil often had a mind of it’s own. Perfect for me – I love a little veil action, especially when it does it naturally!

When we arrived back at the resort there was a team of golf cart drivers ready to escort the 4 of us around for photos. It was still a gorgeous day so I took full advantage of the back lighting I found in a little patch of trees right before we headed inside again.  See! Little patch of trees – with magic light!  I adore this photo of Jennifer. She looks so beautiful and relaxed here. The light around her is soft and gorgeous and so is her smile! Back at the reception, the room was gorgeous! Everything was just perfect!  Norah, the flower girl was adorable. Coincidentally, she was called into service on her actual birthday, so after all day of being the flower girl, she got to also be the birthday girl!
Jennifer and Wes, thank you so much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. You guys are great together and I hope you have a long and happy life as husband and wife. It was great spending time with you and your family and friends at your wedding! All the best to all of you!

Much Love,
Amy
